Virasat is run by REACH - Rural Entrepreneurship for Art & Cultural Heritage, a not-for-profit based in Dehradun. This page covers how we handle the site, the contact form, and the optional programme-update emails - kept short, because that's genuinely all we collect.

When you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, the topic you select, and your message. This goes straight to the REACH team's inbox and is used only to respond to your enquiry - for artist and artisan participation, school and group visits, press, partnerships, volunteering, or general questions.
We don't sell, rent, or share this information with third parties, and we don't use it for marketing unless you separately opt in to programme updates (see below).
Where you see a sign-up for the festival schedule announcement, providing your email is entirely voluntary - it is never required to attend, participate in, or engage with the festival in any way. We send a single email when the schedule is published, and nothing else. You can ask us to remove your email at any time by writing to us.
We track basic, anonymous visit data - which pages are viewed, roughly what kind of device, and which site referred you here - to understand how people use the site. We don't use tracking cookies for this, and we don't build individual visitor profiles. This data isn't shared outside REACH.
The site uses only what's necessary to run correctly - for example, remembering a light/dark display preference. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
